Jeroen Slaghekke barely misses podium in his first street race at St. Petersburg

A unique experience for Jeroen, who races on a street circuit for the first time in his career on the 23rd and 24th of March in St. Petersburg, Florida. A good qualifying position of 4th place is ruined by a crash in the first race. The resulting damage meaning Jeroen couldn't fight for the podium anymore.

In the second race, a victory is on the cards for Jeroen. On the last lap however while running third, a competitor slices Jeroen's rear tyre with his front wing, forcing Jeroen to retire with a flat rear tyre. Tough luck but a great performance nonetheless, especially considering Jeroen was racing with a bruised right hand.
