Jeroen Slaghekke finishes season fourth in the standings

Jeroen Slaghekke has finished his rookie season in Formula Renault 2.0 fourth in the standings of the competitive Northern European Cup (NEC). The 20-year old driver from the Netherlands is the highest placed Formula Renault 2.0 rookie in a field of 41 drivers. “To win a race in my debut season and add a couple of pole positions is something that I’m quite proud of.”

Jeroen Slaghekke has podium in sight after two great starts

Two great starts have allowed Jeroen Slaghekke to minimize damage caused by a messy qualifying. In front of 62.000 race fans at the TT-circuit in Assen the rookie catapulted himself from eighteenth on the grid into the top ten. A day earlier he already went from twelfth on the grid to seventh by the end of the first race.
